Anthony Rapp will join the regular cast of Spalding Gray: Stories Left to Tell on May 15 in the role of "Journals," replacing the departing Ain Gordon. Rapp will remain with the show through May 27, joining Lisa Kron, Hazelle Goodman, Frank Wood and a rotating guest actor currently Valerie Smaldone. Spalding Gray is playing off-Broadway at the Minetta Lane Theatre.
As previously reported, Rapp is set to return to the role of Mark Cohen in the Broadway production of Rent on July 30 for a six-week run. He also starred on Broadway in Precious Sons Outer Critics Circle Award, Six Degrees of Separation and the revival of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. His film and television work includes Rent, Adventures in Babysitting, School Ties, Dazed and Confused, Six Degrees of Separation, A Beautiful Mind, Winter Passing, The X-Files, Law & Order: SVU and Kidnapped. Rapp is the author of Without You: A Memoir of Love, Loss and the Musical Rent which was released in 2006.
